This is what’s going to happen: the government will wait until there are food shortages and power cuts, and then argue that it was forced to act. Only then will it ask to be given EVEN MORE taxpayers’ money.

But that money won’t be coming from Bajan taxpayers. No, that money will be coming from poor taxpayers in countries like the UK and Canada, already sources of most of Barbados’s tourism.
